Your journey to owning a Mobi Mansion

Finance and/or Insure your Tiny Home

At Mobi Mansions, we understand that purchasing a tiny home is an exciting but significant investment.

Purchasing a Road-Legal tiny home, however is far easier than a stationary tiny home or tiny home on a “dolly” or “site trailer” which can not legally be pulled on NZ roads.  The reason is because a Road-Legal home qualifies for finance in the same way as a car or boat, whereas a “non-road-legal” tiny home is normally financed as a personal loan with low capped value and very high interest rates. Normally, if you don’t own land or other property that can be used as fixed asset security for a loan, you might struggle to finance your tiny home unless you can borrow from family or friends.   Purchasing / ordering a Road-Legal tiny home however changes this scenario dramatically, because the tiny home itself is sufficient as security for the loan.

Mobi Mansions ensures the trailer and the home (which is designed and built as “a load on a light trailer” and thus can be removed) both have unique asset identification to satisfy the requirements of finance lenders and insurance companies.

All loans are subject to the normal conditions of a good credit rating, fixed stable income and other standard criteria.

Road-Legal = Finance & Insurance

Mobi Mansions have a limited number of new studio, one and multi-bedroom mobile ‘tiny home’ units on a rent-to-own basis at their Silverdale display park. Qualifying persons will be able to join an established village of sociable, compatible and professional people on a north facing site overlooking the Weiti river.
To be considered for one of these unique opportunities you need to be in stable employment or have provable resources, have a minimum deposit of 30% of the value of the unit ($20,000 to $30,000), be mature, sociable, quiet living, with no dogs, and ultimately pass an appraisal by existing ‘villagers’. Not that hard… and definitely worth it if you would like to live among friends in a beautiful Mobi Mansion home in a truly lovely part of Auckland. The Rent to buy fee structure includes the cost of the home as well as a land lease cost into one easy payment.
Terms and Conditions apply.
